CompTIA has four IT certification series that test different knowledge standards – from entry-level to expert. After successfully taking these courses, individuals are able to sit for the CompTIA certification exam and upon passing earn their CompTIA certification.
Course Structure
CompTIA A+ is widely considered one of the go-to certificates for a well-rounded entry-level introduction to IT. Those who pass the certification exams will be qualified to solve basic issues in networking, operating systems, security and mobile devices. The CompTIA A+ certification requires two exams.
Course Objectives
In this course, you will install, configure, optimize, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on personal computers and digital devices. You will:
- Install and configure PC system unit components and peripheral devices.
- Explain network infrastructure concepts.
- Configure and troubleshoot network connections.
- Implement client virtualization and cloud computing.
- Support and troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices etc.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot print devices.
This course training is done on-line using your personal computer. It is instructor led with assignments and quizzes. You can to engage with the instructor via message boards and group chat. This course is designed for a motivated learner and designed to give you the skills needed for an entry level IT support role.
Prerequisite
To ensure your success in this course, you should have experience with basic computer user skills, be able to complete tasks in a Microsoft® Windows® environment, be able to search for, browse, and access information on the Internet, and have basic knowledge of computing concepts.

This course is designed for individuals who IT professionals who want to specialize in a specific field of IT, like networks, security, or cloud computing, either by building experience or gaining relevant certifications.
The CompTIA IT Fundamentals introduces learners to the basics of computing systems, positioning them to efficiently use the digital resources transforming every job role. This course provides foundational knowledge of desktop, laptop and mobile systems, networking, software installation and security.
In addition, the CompTIA IT Fundamentals course is also relevant to learners and adult career changers considering a career in IT. It also serves as a springboard to more advanced IT skills certifications such as the CompTIA A+.

This career credential training will prepare for a career as a network technician and qualify to take the CompTIA Network+ certification exam. The course is instructor led with assignments and quizzes.
This course is designed for a motivated learner and designed to give you the skills needed for and to master basic networking concepts and gain a fundamental knowledge of network design, security, routing and switching. Building and maintaining networks are among the most important skills to have as an IT professional. This certification confirms that you have the knowledge you need to configure and troubleshoot both wireless and wired hardware.
Course Objectives
In this course, you will describe the major networking technologies and systems of modern networks, and be able to configure, manage, and troubleshoot modern networks. You will:
- Identify basic network theory concepts and major network communications methods.
- Describe bounded network media.
- Identify the major types of network implementations.
- Identify TCP/IP addressing and data delivery methods.
- Implement routing technologies.
- Identify the major services deployed on TCP/IP networks.

In the course, you'll learn the fundamentals you need to prepare for the CompTIA Network+ certification exam (N10-008) and start a career as a network technician. You can earn CompTIA Network+ certification after you pass the N10-008 exam.
Prerequisite
There are no prerequisites to take the Network+ exam. However, CompTIA recommends that Network+ candidates have CompTIA A+ Certification and at least 9-12 months of networking experience.
Who would benefit from CompTIA Network+
CompTIA Network+ is the first certification IT professionals specializing in network administration and support should earn. Network+ is aimed at IT professionals with job roles such as network administrator, network technician, network installer, help desk technician and IT cable installer.
The CompTIA Security+ certification will equip you with the skills to perform basic security functions. The certification will cover subjects like encryption, physical security, and wireless security.
During this course you will learn comprehensive material that covers the key objectives and fundamentals to perform core security functions while pursuing an information technology-based career. Successful completion of this course will allow you to assess an organization's security strength while recommending and implementing appropriate security solutions based on those assessments.

The security training course will prepare students for the CompTIA Security+ SY0-601 exam. Topics covered in the Security+ certification course include:

Prerequisite
Students should meet the following criteria prior to taking the Security+ certification course:
- Know the function and basic features of the components of a PC
- Use Windows Server to create and manage files and use basic administrative features (Explorer, Control Panel,Management Consoles, Command Line Tools)
- Operate the Linux OS using basic command-line tools
- Operate the Linux OS using basic command-line tools
- Know basic network terminology and functions (such as OSI Model, Topology, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, switches, routers)
